When you first attempt a round , you might find yourself wallowing in frustration as more experienced players run circles around you. This game is not one to jump into lightly, it is a team based game and it can only take one inexperienced player to take a whole team to the ground.
You will either be part of the North Eastern Zerg or the South Western Protoss, this version of DotA has a slightly smaller map, if you are familiar with Warcraft: the Frozen Throne DotA you know how long it can take to traverse the map, in this version buying warp stones are not nearly as required especially if you buy the accelerator which increases your movement speed.
Another difference in this version is how quickly your life bar can be whittled down, do not allow creeps to tap you more than a couple times, you will be surprised you how much damage they can do.
Stay back, skirt around fights until you know your capabilities and your foes.
